A word of thanks.

By Joseph. Posted in Misc. | No Comments »

Hello all,

The exco would like to extend our biggest thanks for the hard work put in today. We really appreciate it, especially the repeated playing of the pieces just to showcase our band to the sec 1s. I thank you for your endurance.

Of course, please continue working hard. There’s only 2.5 months left = not a lot time left for Hawaii. We are HCIBand, there’s nothing we can’t achieve. Am I right? ;)

So anyway, please remember tomorrow’s band prac, memorise your scores also. Thanks.

S4 Farewell

By Joseph. Posted in Misc. | No Comments »

Hi all,

I’m quite sure you have been notified about this event one way or another already, but here’s the official post. S4 farewell will be held on 9th January, that’s about one week from now. Anyways, details are as follow:

Date: 9th January, Saturday

Venue: Happy Joy Restaurant (Located next to Bukit Merah Bus Interchange)

Block 166, Bukit Merah Town Central #04-3531, Singapore 150166

Duration: 12.30pm to around 3pm

Cost per person: $16

Sec 4s need not pay.

You might want to meet up at Bukit Merah Bus Interchange first?

Buses that head to interchange: 5、16、(16B)、57、123、131、132、139、145、153、167、175、176、198、272、273、275、851

Or the locality map from StreetDirectory.com: http://www.streetdirectory.com/asia_travel/travel/travel_main.php?zonename=bukit+merah

Anyway, the sec 4s have contributed a lot to this band, it’s only fair that we give them a good farewell before they head to JC. Sections might want to get a farewell gift for their sec 4s, yea? :P

P.S. For those who have CIP on that day, try to leave early :) Those who have other commitments, try to postpone it. If it’s really not possible, then you can always wish your sec 4s farewell another time!

Remember, band pracs start next week!
