Hwa Chong Symphonic Band is coperforming with Hwa Chong Strings Ensemble to put up a concert, ‘Artitude’. The 70 member strong orchestra will be playing pieces such as Sibelius’ Finlandia, medleys from Pirates of the Carribean as well as the 1st and 4th movements of Dvorak’s New World Symphony. The concert will be in aid of Very Special Arts (VSA) Singapore, a non profit charity which aims to “provide every individual with disability the opportunities to access the Arts for the purposes of Rehabilitation and Social Integration”.
The concert will be held on 27 February, 7.30PM at Cheng Yi Auditorium, at Hwa Chong College. Tickets are sold at $10 each. All proceeds will be donated to VSA Singapore.
