Dear Band-its
Hi everyone, this is the very first post by ExCo 10/11 on band blog.(YAY!) On behalf of the ExCo members, we thank you for your support and we will try more than our best to serve the band. Feedback is very much welcomed. If you have any suggestions on ways to improve the band, please email to: exco1011hciband@gmail.com, or feedback to the majors directly.

Just a reminder, for those who are playing for flag raising(sec 2s to 4s), please be in obr punctually at 6.55am on Monday. We really need your co-operation to ensure that things proceed smoothly.
Now, let’s get down to the business at hand: NBC
The band practices for the next two weeks are as follow:
29/6 Tue: 2.30pm to 6pm
30/6 Wed: 2.30pm to 6pm
2/7 Fri: 2.30pm to 6pm
3/7 Sat: 8am to 12pm
6/7 Tue: 2.30pm to 6pm
7/7 Wed: 2.30pm to 6pm
9/7 Fri: 2.30pm to 6pm
10/7 Sat: NBC!!!(details to be posted up later)
As you can see, we have less than two weeks(7 official band practices) to NBC. Like the last 1km of a marathon race, the last stretch before a competition is always the toughest, and the part where most people want to give up. But no, we will never give up. We all believe that the band will improve drastically before the competition, but the sudden curve before the competition does not just happen by itself. To make it happen, we need YOU, and every single one of you, to put in 120% of your effot to practise really hard for NBC. If you have been practising hard, practice harder. If you haven’t been practising hard, this very moment is the time you start putting in double, or even triple, the effort.
All in all, practise hard, for the band, for your friends, and for yourself. When we achieve the results we have been aiming for, it will be worth all the hardship. And the honour and joy belongs to the band, our band. I believe that we will make it.
GO HCIBAND!!!
