Lawrence Siao

Having been the conductor of the 3 time award winning band, Tanjong Katong Band, in the Singapore Youth Festival Display Band Competitions in 1998, 2000 and 2002, for a decade, Mr. Lawrence Siao has a wealth of experience. He expertises in both indoor and outdoor aspects and has led Tanjong Katong Band to the 1996 All Taipei Marching Band and Honour Guard Festival and also in Chingay 1997. His involvement with band during his secondary school days has inculcated in him a passion for music. Deeply enchanted by music, he has once said something interesting that is he would rather be blind than deaf. He plays the French Horn and is currently a member of National Institute of Education Symphonic Band under the tutelage of Associate Professor Ho Hwee Long.
